Women Age And Fertility
It is believed that the fertility decreases with increasing age. Women are most fertile in their 20’s. When their age increases, their fertility decreases. A decline in the fertility starts when a woman reaches at the age of 32. It decreases fast after 37 years. It is due to the decrease in the number of eggs. When the number of eggs decreases, the hormone level also changes, that results in the reduction of fertility.
With the increasing age, women are at the risk of certain diseases like uterine fibroids and endometriosis. These diseases also affect the fertility of a woman.
Does my age affect my fertility?
From the age of 30 the fertility starts to turn down in women. The fertility goes down rapidly from the age of 35. The possibility of getting pregnant falls when women grow older because the infertility rises in growing age.
Most women at the age of 35 can conceive naturally and can give birth to a healthy baby but at that age, the possibility of miscarriage increases while conceiving a baby.
Why fertility declines so fast?
With increasing age, women have ovulation problem and they have also the risk of having blockage in their fallopian tubes. The ovulation problem occurs because the quality of the eggs also decreases. So it becomes difficult for any woman to conceive.
When there is a blockage in the fallopian tubes, your sexual health is affected. Although the blockage in the tubes can be caused at any age but when you grow older, you are more likely to have your tubes blocked.
There are certain conditions that affect fertility like endometriosis and fibroids. Fibroids are more common in women who are above 30.
